TraQs-TaxPartner Talent Mobility Roundtable 2014 in Zurich

Striving for Excellence in all aspects of Delivery and Support – from Talent to Taxes

When: Thursday 27 November 2014 17:00-19:00 followed by a reception
Where: TaxPartner AG, Talstrasse 80, 8001 Zürich with reception at Bar/Restaurant MaDonna to follow

With companies focused on exploiting growth opportunities in increasingly far flung regions of the world, an organisation’s ability to fast-track the development of emerging talent has become a crucial factor in securing its competitive advantage. Indeed, the opportunity to provide international experience through global assignments is one that sets world class organisations apart.

While such assignments can provide a welcome stimulus to an employee’s engagement and career opportunity with their company, there is a body of evidence which suggests an alternative, less desirable, outcome for too many in some organisations. “I used to think I worked for a great company, but now I’m not so sure” wrote one assignee following their experience of disappointing support around their assignment. Excellence in the way we support global mobility remains, therefore, the foundation upon which all our strategic aspirations for talent mobility are based.

One such area requiring an ongoing focus is source tax and social security, especially in an environment where the authorities are successfully pursuing claims vis-à-vis employers operating internationally. What are the implications for our in-house delivery teams and our outsourced providers? How can the introduction of metrics and dashboards help us in securing excellence in delivery?

These are some of the questions we will be discussing at this roundtable as we set out a roadmap for ensuring excellence in delivery. We invite you to join us and to share your own issues, challenges and ideas during the roundtable and, more informally, over drinks and refreshments to follow.

Driving the conversation will be experts from two leading firms, TraQs and TaxPartner. In addition to presenting stimulating information and insights, we aim to provide a relaxed environment within which you can nurture your professional network and relationships.
