TraQs-TaxPartner Talent Moblity Roundtable 2016 in Zurich

Running high-performing mobility programs: during and beyond the assignment lifecycle

When: Thursday 3 November 2016 17:00-19:00 followed by a reception
Where: TaxPartner AG, Talstrasse 80, 8001 Zürich with reception at Bar/Restaurant MaDonna to follow

Despite so many socio-economic and political uncertainties, the globalisation of business continues apace and is a key driver of growth for companies large and small. Global mobility remains a vital tool for such businesses, allowing them to grow and deploy a pipeline of culturally-agile talent capable of succeeding in an increasingly complex and competitive global economy.

It is essential that our programs provide the right array of policies and delivery structures that allow all parts of the business to mobilise key talent in a smooth, cost-effective manner. In short, our companies need high-performing programs, and program owners need to step up to this challenge.

Yet, global mobility is uniquely complex among HR processes requiring the concerted effort of multiple delivery partners both within and outside the company to manage practical, financial and career concerns while ensuring legal and fiscal compliance across at least two countries.

During the roundtable we will discuss what you can do to manage this complexity, during and beyond the assignment lifecycle, and rise to the challenge of running a high-performing program. We will cover some high-level topics – vendor management, information systems, interfaces with talent management and other functions – and some detailed topics including: the impact of tax residence and work-days on fiscal compliance; and pension fund entitlements after leaving Switzerland.

Join us at this year’s Talent Mobility Roundtable and share your own thoughts, challenges and ideas with your peers and trusted partners during the roundtable and, more informally, over drinks and refreshments to follow.

Driving the conversation will be experts from two leading firms, TraQs and TaxPartner. In addition to presenting stimulating information and insights, we aim to provide a relaxed environment within which you can nurture your professional network and relationships.
