The team of Red Expat member companies that met in September reconvened to conclude their project on understanding and improving the employee experience in global mobility.

TraQs first provided expert responses to a number of new questions that had been raised – including ‘what are the policy changes that are being made to improve employee experience’ and ‘the role of digital technologies such as AI, chat bots in the employee experience’.

Building blocks and road blocks

An opportunity for the strategic roundtable group to take stock of the work undertaken so far and the discuss how best to drive things forward.

While the initiative has identified the building blocks of a ‘next generation talent mobility’ program, there are road blocks to adopting the necessary practices, approaches and tools that are the foundations of the program of the future.

This session explores the opportunities to build on the idea of Mobility Propositions to reach the ultimate goal of measuring Success and Return on Investment.

Our transformative vision is for global mobility programs to be guided by the need to deliver successful outcomes.

What constitutes success will differ according to the perspective of each assignment stakeholder. Often there will be conflicting aspirations and these will need to be resolved in a way that enhances global mobility return on investment.

Developing a clear understanding of the relationship between the global talent pipeline and the global mobility value proposition is vital. This will enable the building of meaningful connections between global mobility and talent management that will make mobility work.
